1. Just ran my 1st Marathon – The San Francisco Marathon #SFM2012 -It was EPIC [And I Youtube video documented the entire 1 year of training runs] However, I could of used some of your advise. Congrats on your achievements!

  2. Great tips David, are you planning to run any marathons this year?

  3. my marathon time is 3hr 34minuts

  4. some time ago the New England Journal of Medicine published a major article showing that 13 percent of runners in the 2002 Boston Marathon might have suffered from hyponatremia, a dangerous condition caused by drinking too much fluid. The figure was surprising because Boston draws the best, fittest, and most experienced runners in the world. If Boston has a 13-percent rate of hyponatremia, what is it at other marathons?

they recommend you drink 400 to 800 ml/hr (13.5 to 27 fluid ounces)

  5. lol you are fat

  6. @CE818 did u win the Los Angeles marathon?

  7. Im sponsored by FLUID.

  8. fuck off

  9. me to c ya there man

  10. i wasn’t directing it to you I was saying it to marijuanasmoker10 and irishhalonerd
when i said too I meant them

  11. Please, I’m curious… what exactly did I say that was wrong?

  12. actually you’re wrong too marijuanasmoker
    it’s 26.2 miles

  13. Why can’t you just point out the mistake politely - there are perfectly intelligent people out there who don’t know how long a marathon is. Personally, I’ve run 10 of them… and I’d have preferred most to have been 24 miles 🙂

  14. shit just get me a bottle of gasoline and I’m good to go.

  15. yeah i used them before. i used them once a few weeks before the marathon and they seem to have made me tired. I didn’t think it was the gel packs at that time. but then i took some during the marathon and it really messed up my performance. I would say check out how they work for you multiple times before deciding if you should use them during a marathon. good luck!

  16. I run cross country and track too, but a marathon is another thing entirely. While during practice for cross country the maximum, extremely maximum distance is eight miles, a marathon is a massive 24 miles, a feat which takes a lot more stamina.

  17. f;lkgflg

  18. shit i got adhd, i run track and xc, alls i need is a few glasses of water bfor i run and im good to go, i hyper through my whole run, that about the only adantage to adhd =p
