We’re still afloat…
Man, it is freaking WET here in south central Texas. If you haven’t been outside in the last few days (It’s summer, I know… there’s lots of Wii to be played) the town’s been underwater. 13 inches of rain or something crazy like that. Of course, it being Texas, the big story is a dude who tried to drive his truck around a high-water barricade, only to get washed away and, fortunately, saved by police and a rescue crew. Dodging a barricade is a class-C misdemeanor, so they cuffed the guy and took him away, as his shiny F-150 floated away down Leon Creek.
